Yee Haw, That's Alot of Bull
As reported recently, there was a good chance that the Montreal Canadiens would be playing the San Antonio Bulls first round of the playoffs, and with only a handful of nights left, it now has been confirmed that the habs will be traveling to the Alamo City for games one and two of the playoffs. All but one game between these two clubs were decided by 1 goal or less, and the Bulls came out victorious of the season series winning 3 of the 6 games, and their last game in Montreal lead to a 4-4 tie when John Bradley tied the game with 1:03 left in the game.
John Bradley:
They are a good team, and we have had some great battles with them this year. We feel that the outcomes of those games could have went either way and want to make sure we are on the winning side of them this time. We know where we made mistakes and hopefully that will give us a little advantage. We are considered the underdogs in this series and want to show that team's shouldn't take us lightly as we have alot of good things going on here.
Also, rookie Cam Glass will get to make his ANHS Playoff debut holding the team in a playoff spot for most of the season.
Coach Martin:
Cammy has been great for us all season. He has held us in alot of game and we are hoping for him to get some valuable playoff experience to help us for years to come. if the pressure gets too much, we are confident with Ruslan's play and we have no issues with putting him in.
Last season the Canadiens used 3 different goalies in 3 different series in the playoffs, but not one of them being the same as their tandem this year. Now Denver Reign goalie Keanu Demro started the playoffs while current Thunder goalie Mike Muzechka played the second round. Quebec goalie Martin D'Orsennens was the third goalie in rotation during the playoffs and only won 2 of 8 starts for the Canadiens in the playoffs. But now with a fresh goaltending Duo, its time to have a different motivation to go as deep into the playoffs as possible.
